Description

ALTOTHR indicates that the respondent chose to have an alternative or temporary work arrangement during the reference week for some reason other than the reasons listed. Other variables giving other reasons why respondents have alternative work arrangements include ALTBOSS, ALTEXP, ALTFAM, ALTFLEX, ALTPAY, ALTSTAT, ALTTRAIN, and ALTTYPE. The variable ALTANY identifies respondents who reported to have an alternative work arrangement.
