Description

If a respondent lost or left a job (as indicated by DOWNSIZE) since his/her first bachelor's degree, LOSEOTHR reports whether or not a reason other than those listed on the questionnaire caused the respondent to lose his/her job. LOSEOTHR is among a series of variables regarding the reason for the respondent losing his/her job, which also includes LOSECLOS, LOSEMOVE, LOSEREOR, LOSEREV, LOSESELF, and LOSETAKE.
