Description

If a respondent lost or left a job (as indicated by DOWNSIZE) since his/her first bachelor's degree, LOSETAKE reports whether or not the takeover of his/her company caused the loss of the job. LOSETAKE is among a series of variables regarding the reason for the respondent losing his/her job, which also includes LOSECLOS, LOSEMOVE, LOSEOTHR, LOSEREOR, LOSEREV, and LOSESELF.
