Codes and Frequencies
Description
FRFAM indicates the degree to which a change in family-related circumstances would increase the respondent's interest in conducting research outside of the United States.
If a 1993 Survey of Doctorate Recipients respondent's work was related to research, he/she was asked how much his/her interest in researching abroad would increase depending on certain factors. In addition to FRFAM, the responses related to each factor are contained in the variables FRFIN, FRLAN, FROPP, FROT, and FRSAB.
