Description

ACEM indicates whether the reason that the respondent was enrolled in classes in the reference week was that his/her employer expected or required classes. The survey question from which ACEM was derived asks the respondent to mark all reasons why he/she was taking courses or enrolled in a degree program. Related variables include ACADV, ACCAR, ACCHG, ACGRD, ACINT, ACLIC, ACOT, ACOTP, and ACSKL.
