Description

FROTX95 reports whether there was a reason why the respondent had not conducted research in a country other than the United States other than the reasons listed on the questionnaire. In addition to FROTX95, other reasons for not researching abroad are contained in the variables FRFAMX95, FRFNDS95, FRHOST95, FRINT95, FRJOB95, FRLANG95, FRNOT95, and FRTIME95.

Comparability

This variable is only available for the 1995 Survey of Doctorate Recipients.
