Description

FRNOT95 reports whether or not research abroad being irrelevant to the respondent's career was a reason why the respondent had not conducted research in a country other than the United States. In addition to FRNOT95, other reasons for not researching abroad are contained in the variables FRFAMX95, FRFNDS95, FRHOST95, FRINT95, FRJOB95, FRLANG95, FROTX95, and FRTIME95.

Comparability

This variable is only available for the 1995 Survey of Doctorate Recipients.
