Description

MRCHG indicates whether or not the respondent cited a change in academic or occupational field as a reason for obtaining his/her most recent degree. MRCHG is part of a series of variables from the same survey question that ask for reasons the respondent obtained his/her most recent post-secondary degree. Other variables in this series include MRADV, MRCAR, MREM, MRGRD, MRINT, MRLIC, MROTP, and MRSKL.
