Description

For respondents who did not hold a career path job as of the survey reference period (April 15, 1997), PHDRELAT indicates how related the respondent's first career path job was to his/her doctorate degree.

Comparability

This variable is only available for the SESTAT Survey of Doctorate Recipients 1997 sample.
