Description

MRCAR indicates whether or not the respondent reported that he/she wanted to further his/her education before pursuing a career as a reason for obtaining his/her most recent degree. MRCAR is part of a series of variables from the same survey question that ask for reasons the respondent obtained his/her most recent post-secondary degree. Other variables in this series include MRADV, MRCHG, MREM, MRGRD, MRINT, MRLIC, MROTP, and MRSKL.
