Description

HDRGN reports the location of the school from which the respondent received his or her highest degree.

Comparability

For most samples, HDRGN reports location at the level of region in the US. Only NSCG and NSRCG samples captured respondents who might have received a degree outside the US due to sampling procedures. SDR samples choose respondents who received a doctorate at a US institution.
